i.Do you charge for a quote or site visit?
No — quotes and site visits are completely free with no obligation to proceed. We come out, listen, measure up, and follow up with a clear, itemised written quotation so you can compare like-for-like.
ii.Are you fully insured for landscaping work?
Yes. CRRL.LTD Construction carries public liability cover and works as a Limited Company. We also undertake insurance work for assessors and landlords — for example storm-damage fencing or subsidence-related groundworks. We're happy to share insurance details on request before any project begins.
iii.Do you take on small jobs as well as full garden builds?
Absolutely. A morning's repointing on a garden wall, a single fence run, a lawn re-turf, a patio rebuild, or a complete front-and-back garden makeover — we scale the team to the job. Both domestic and commercial customers are welcome.
iv.How do you price work — hourly or fixed?
The vast majority of our work is fixed-price against an itemised quotation. You agree the price before we start, and we stick to it unless you change the brief mid-project (in which case any variation is agreed in writing first).
v.How quickly can you start?
Lead times vary by season — gardens are busiest spring through summer, while autumn and winter are good for hard-landscaping work like patios, walls and fencing. For emergency call-outs (storm damage, fallen fences) we aim to attend within 24 hours. Get in touch and we'll be straight with you about availability.
vi.Do garden projects ever need planning permission?
Most don't, but a few do — fences over 2 m, decking that sits more than 30 cm above ground, dropped kerbs for new driveways, and tree work in conservation areas can all need consent. We'll flag anything we spot during the site visit and point you in the right direction before any work starts.
vii.Where can I see your reviews and previous work?
